Time to Eat Cake!

Kendall did a great job eating her cake and ice cream! We left her in her party outfit, and she didn't even get it dirty! She was a little confused when everyone was looking at her singing, though...

Aunt Val and Uncle Jeff watched the whole party via webcam, thanks to Jeff, who brought his laptop. We were just able to carry them around everywhere and let them see what Kendall was doing! So here is Randy putting them on the table so they could watch her eat cake. How fun that they were able to "be there" even though they couldn't be there!

Dad videotaped for us during the party. This is a picture of him videotaping Val and Jeff on the computer.
Sweetest birthday girl!

Party Time!

We were so blessed to have so much of our family drive down from Ft. Worth to celebrate with us! Granny, Papas, Gigi, Peeps, Kiki, Pops, Aunt Megg, Grandma Dane, and Aunt Kathy all came down for the party. We had a great weekend with them! Aunt Alden had a UIL event and Aunt Val is about a week away from having Baby Gracie, so they weren't able to be there, but we missed them a lot! Lots of our Lake Jackson friends came to help us celebrate and we loved getting to see everyone! Here are just a few shots Michelle took before we ate cake and opened presents.

Kendall got a swing from Gigi and Peeps and she would have stayed in it all day if we had let her! She loves it!

We were so thankful it was a beautiful day so we could hang out outside.

Ready to Party!

This is the first of many birthday posts! We took tons of pictures (are you suprised?) so it may take awhile to get them all on here. These are some pictures of all the decorations we put up for the party. Randy and I had a lot of fun planning and decorating and Michelle was here to help, too!

We hung a picture from each month this year. 12 months of cuteness! It was so sweet to see how she has changed and grown.

Randy ordered 36 balloons!

Kendall napped for the 2 hours before the party while we set everything up. Good for her....good for us!
Looking at the picture of her in the hospital. One year old Kendall, meet one day old Kendall. :)
Now we're ready to party!!

Some Walking Videos

In this second video, she is walking and wanting me to hand her the bear she got from Granny and Papas. It cracks me up how she holds her hand upside down.

A Great Birthday

Kendall has had some great mail days this week! Yesterday she got a Valentine's package from Gigi and Peeps and a card from her Great Mamaw and Papaw! Here she is about to open those:

Today she got a package from Granny and Papas with a Build-a-bear inside! The bear had a cupcake with one candle on it. So cute! She also got a card from her Great-Great Aunt Doris. All her grandparents called to wish her Happy Birthday and so did her Great Granny and Jan. She is very loved!

This morning after Kendall's doctor's appointment we went and got her some whole milk and she had some for lunch. She seemed to love it and has acted like she feels great so far!

When Randy came home from work, we gave Kendall her present from us. It is a pink horse that she can ride on. She loved it! She put her new bear in the basket that hangs around it's neck and let us push her up and down the hall. She can't quite figure out how to scoot herself yet - she only goes backwards. We took lots of video with our video camera, but forgot to take a picture. We'll try to remember to do that tomorrow!

After a dinner at home, we met Aaron, Holly, Ethan, and Amy at Chick Fil A for some ice cream! Ethan was a great friend to come celebrate with Kendall...he seemed super excited for her birthday! Or maybe he was just excited to be out of the house with his mom and dad without Ella (Holly's mom was at home with her). We had a lot of fun and even ran into Tori while we were there!

Happy Birthday sweet girl! We can't wait for your party this weekend!
