Kendall has been telling us for six months that for her third birthday she wanted a princess party. She said she wanted it to be pink and purple and she wanted her friends to come and dress like princesses. So that's what we did! We had a party for princesses at home on Saturday, some of our family came down, and Randy and I made a princess cake!
Granny and Papas got Kendall the cutest dress-up cookie cutters for Christmas, so we used those to make cookie favors and to decorate the cake. Here Randy is putting the finishing touches on the cake. Last year he decorated Kendall's Elmo cake, so this is our new tradition.
And here is the house all decorated and ready for the party! We got lots of pink and purple balloons, used lots of crepe paper, and put streamers on the kitchen chandelier. Kendall loved it, and Cooper kept staring at everything, too!
Family picture before the party! I love my family of four!
Kendall was so excited that her Granny and Papas, Gigi and Peeps, Mamaw and Papaw, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Val, Uncle Dohe, Gracie, and Evy all came down for her party! Gracie's birthday is February 16, and we aren't going to be able to go to Ft. Worth for her party, so we gave her her present the night before Kendall's party...a Belle dress! She wore it to Kendall's princess party on Saturday.
