And he's off!

Randy left today for his trip to Cambodia! He will be there until January 10. I put a link to their trip blog on the right side of our page, so make sure you go and check it out. They will be posting updates throughout the next week and a half. Tonight they are flying to LA, then to Taipei, and then on to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They will get there at 9:00 our time Thursday night and 10:00 their time Friday morning. That is a long trip!!! Please pray for safety and that they will be a powerful force for the kingdom while they are there. And please pray for the girls he left behind! We will miss him a lot! These are some pictures from when we dropped them off at the airport this afternoon. We have special instructions that Kendall is NOT allowed to take her first steps while Randy is gone. She is so close! If she acts like she's going to step, I'm just supposed to push her down. :)

We miss you already Ran! Have fun and come home quick!

Whew!

We got back to Lake Jackson Saturday night and unloaded the van. That was a job! Kendall had her bottle in her Elmo chair while we unpacked. We had a wonderful Christmas and were all very spoiled. We are very thankful for our sweet family that takes such good care of us. Kendall is ready to play with all her new toys!!

Christmas Day

Christmas day started at Pops and Kiki's house. We all opened presents together, and then Ashley's grandparents, (Great) Granny and Grandaddy Oscar came over as well as great aunt Donna for Christmas lunch. Kiki made it, and she did a great job.

Kendall and Pops

Kendall's new coat from aunt Megg.

After that we went back to Gigi and Peeps. Val and Dohe were already there, and everyone was ready to eat...so we ate again! Gigi did a great job too!!
This stack of presents was not for Kendall, but she still thought they were fun.
Kendall played with Peeps' hat all week. She wore it as much as he did.
Check out Kendall's new Elmo slippers. When she saw them she said, "Awwww!" Her eyes lit up too. Gigi said that this was a very Elmo Christmas.
Molly doesn't mind sharing her bed.
Peeps and Gigi got Kendall this walker...she will be crusin' very soon!
Val and Dohe gave Kendall this Elmo chair. It was a HUGE hit!

Kendall's first Cabbage Patch Doll...Hannah

Hey this new chair is pretty soft and cozy! (Kendall doesn't mind sharing her chair!)
We had a great Christmas day. Kendall was totally spoiled, and it is possible that her mom and dad were too. Thanks Pops & Kiki and Gigi & Peeps...we had lots of fun.

Christmas Eve

We drove to Ft. Worth Christmas Eve morning. That night we started with dinner at Ashley's Grandma and Grandpa's house (her mom's parents).

Her Great Grandma and Grandpa got her a little puppy dog to pull around. She has had a lot of fun playing with it!

Looking at the decorations with her aunt Alden.

After dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house we went to Granny and Papas house for more presents! It was late, but Kendall was very happy to help everyone open their presents.

She got a bug jar with bugs in it that is like her picnic basket that she loves. It's made by Melissa and Doug and we love their toys!

She got a new umbrella stroller...

...and her new carseat!! We were so thankful to get that from Granny and Papas and Kendall loved it. It was so funny because it was a very practical gift, but she still enjoyed playing on it and seemed excited about it!

She just kept climbing up in it and sitting down. We think she's trying to tell us she's ready to face forward. Still not sure when we'll make the switch, but probably it will be closer to her birthday (which is just about a month away!!).

And finally, opening her first stocking. She got some Bob and Larry bath toys, some candy, and more toys. Thanks Granny and Papas!! We had a lot of fun celebrating Kendall's first Christmas with you!

Christmas Eve Eve

After our three Christmas Eve Eve services Tuesday night, we had dinner with the Johnsons and the Sanders over at Holly and Aaron's house. Ethan got his Christmas present from Aaron and Holly, which was a roller coaster, and Kendall and Ethan both got presents from Jan and Kevin. Much to Kendall's excitement, it was an Elmo doll and book!!! She got so excited and we had so much fun watching her open her present.

She had to crawl over to Holly with her Elmo and show him to her. She LOVES Holly.

Here are a few videos we took. The first one is of Ethan on his new roller coaster. He was having so much fun, but I'm not sure if he was having as much fun as his dad!

Kendall opening her Elmo present...

...and then telling everyone what she got. She just kept chattering and talking. We think she was just so excited to see Elmo in person and not on the t.v.!

We had such a good time and love our new tradition of our Lake Jackson Christmas Eve Eve!

Fridge Farm

Kendall got an early Christmas present yesterday! Our friend Deanna gave her a fridge farm! A few weeks ago, she watched Kendall and Ethan over at Ethan's house while Aaron, Holly, Randy and I went out to dinner. Kendall played with Ethan's fridge farm a lot of the time while she was over there, so Deanna decided she needed one of her own! She opened it yesterday and we put it on the fridge and she has had so much fun playing with it! Thanks a bunch Mrs. Deanna!!!

Sweet Face!

Look at that sweet face!

Kendall wore her new dress to church today and we took these this morning before we left. All of the pictures from this morning are REALLY starting to look like her mom! No really, there are baby pictures of Ashley that look a lot like Kendall does right now, other than the hair color.
What a big girl.
"Dad, it's time to go to church!"
I am usually the picture taker, so here are a few of me and Kendall.
"Christmas rocks!"

P.S. - Oh yeah, Ashley made the hairbow...motherhood is turning her crafty.
