New Videos

Kendall is doing a bunch of new things lately! One of our favorite things she does is she gets a book and brings it to us to read to her. She hands it to us and then crawls into our laps. It is the best thing ever! She doesn't stay long and is pretty busy, but just the fact that she is loving her books and wanting us to read to her makes us so happy!!! I was taping her today, trying to get video of her walking, but got this instead.

The other thing she is doing is WALKING ALL THE TIME!! We haven't been able to get it on video yet, but she has started walking more than she crawls. She can take a bunch of steps at a time and chooses it over crawling a lot. She also pushes her walker around the house all day long. She can turn it and when she runs into stuff she just repositions the walker and keeps going. We can't believe how big she is getting! One week from today she will be a whole year old! Where has it gone?!

I had to get the next thing on video. Turns out Kendall LOVES Sesame Street. When it comes on and she hears the theme music, she starts singing and dancing and looks at me like, "Look Mom! My favorite show is on!" She also starts singing and dancing when Elmo's World comes on. He has special music and she knows it and recognizes it. The first video is the Sesame Street theme and the second is Elmo's World.

Welcome Baby Ella!

Ella Catherine Sanders was born this morning! Holly and Ella are both doing great, and Ethan has met his new little sister and is not too sure what to think about her. We were able to go up to Houston and meet her tonight and she is so little bity! Sweet little feet! They are so skinny and wrinkly!
Ready for another one....

We think she looks a lot like Ethan.

Kendall loves Holly and started reaching for her as soon as we walked in the room. She wouldn't stop until we let her sit in her lap. She also helped Holly answer the phone a few times. :)

Congratulations Holly and Aaron! She is beautiful and Kendall is so ready for her to come home and play with her!

Bathtime Belly

We think Kendall is putting the pounds back on. She slowed down when she started crawling, but now she seems to be gaining again. Here is our evidence:

Kendall and Sarah Grace

Sarah Grace came over to play today for a few hours and her and Kendall had so much fun! Sarah wanted to go outside, so we went out to the front yard and rode in the wagon and the stroller. It was such a pretty day that we stayed outside to have a picnic while we ate our morning snacks!

Sarah went back and forth between wanting to ride and wanting to push or pull Kendall in the wagon or the stroller. She was so cute!
Molly even went for a ride for a little bit!

Such a sweet friend to pull Kendall!

We love you Sarah Grace!

Don't blink!

Randy and Kendall had a Daddy/Daughter Day today! I helped give Holly her baby shower today, so they spent most of the morning together. Kendall helped Ran go around the house and put baby locks on all the cabinets, which is both a help and a frustration! She is so busy these days and she loves to open all the cabinets, so it will be a huge help, but it is also very frustrating to have to deal with those locks every time we want to get in the cabinets! But I am glad they are on. They also played a whole lot, and right before I left, Randy taped her pushing her walker she got for Christmas. Up until now she will stand up with it, but it has always rolled too fast and she has usually just fallen onto her knees. But now that she is walking so much better, she can actually keep up with it! Here is a video. Don't blink! You'll miss her!

Two Small Steps for Kendall..Two Giant Leaps for Mom and Dad!

She finally did it! Kendall took her first two steps by herself tonight!! WOOHOO! We were so excited that she didn't do it while Randy was in Cambodia. She was so sweet to wait until he was home. We were all three in the living room tonight. Randy has been super sick with tonsilitis, so he was resting on the couch and Holly and Aaron had just brought me Arby's for dinner. I grabbed my plate and went to sit on the floor in the den to eat. Kendall was playing in the middle of the floor and when she saw me sit down close to her with food, she stood up and took two steps toward me ALL BY HERSELF!!! Randy and I both got to see it. We think it is super funny that she took her first two steps toward food...that sounds about right for Kendall! She had already had her dinner of yogurt, turkey, cheese, green beans and applesauce, by the way! Anyway, we didn't get it on video, and she hasn't done it again, but the exciting part is we both saw it! YEA!

While we were at Kiki and Pops' house, Kendall discovered the stairs. She wanted to climb them all the time and she is really good at it! Of course Pops, Kiki, or I were right behind her the whole time. I took a few videos of that, so here you go. This can tide you over until we catch her walking by herself on video.

Gracie's Shower!

Saturday was Aunt Val's baby shower for Gracie! We were so excited to celebrate with them and just can't wait to meet Baby Gracie! She will be here so soon! Kendall got all dressed up for the party and watched Aunt Val open gifts before we got on the road and met Dad in Houston!

Going Visiting

We were so thankful to be able to spend time with good friends while we were in Ft. Worth. I didn't take pictures everywhere we went, but here are a few.

On Sunday after going to church at NRHBC, we went over to Erin, Rob, and Porter's house for lunch. Kendall loved playing in Porter's chair. We tried to get a picture of the two of them together, but they were both very tired from a busy morning at church.

So ladylike!

Monday we went and had lunch with Michelle, Katelyn, and Mary Elizabeth Teague. Katelyn turned 3 in October and Mary Elizabeth is just one month old! They gave Kendall a new bag for her first birthday. Thanks, girls!! We loved seeing you!

Wednesday night we went to Courtney, Trent, and Madison's house for dinner. Michelle came, too. I already posted some pictures Courtney sent me, but here are some of our's.

Thursday, Kiki went with us to have lunch with my Granny, Kendall's Great Granny. We went to a favorite tea room of mine. It was a lot of fun for me to take Kendall there!

Thursday afternoon we went back over to Porter's house to play a little more. Again, we tried hard for a picture with both of them looking, but it was to no avail! It was so fun to see you so much guys! We miss you!

Porter was such a sweet friend to share his toys with Kendall!

Henry's Birthday

While we were in Ft. Worth last week we were able to go to Henry's first birthday party! We were so excited to get to celebrate with him, Kasey, and Rob. They had a pancake and pajama party on Saturday morning and it was so much fun.

Kendall wore her new owl pajamas from Gigi and Peeps and her Elmo slippers.
Eating her breakfast with Peeps.

She got to meet cousin Jeremy for the first time!

She watched Henry open presents for awhile...

...but then she decided she needed to go help! She takes after her mom in that way.

Blowing Kisses

Kendall has started blowing kisses! Here are some videos of her doing it. I hope you are able to watch them Ran!

Exciting news: So far while Randy has been in Cambodia we have been able to "chat" on Skype. He doesn't have a microphone, so we can't actually talk, but we do chat live, kind of like AOL IM. This morning though, when he called, he said the internet was working really fast (it has been really slow) and I asked him if he wanted to try doing the video thing. We have a webcam here - he doesn't have one there - but I thought at least he could see his girls! Well...it worked!!! I ran and woke Kendall up (it was 8:00 anyway, time to get up) and brought her back and he was able to see her!!! It was so neat. She even did all her tricks for him: she waved, blew him a kiss, and grabbed my cell phone and held it up to her ear. She couldn't see him, but I kept saying, "Say hi to Dad!" and she said, "Hi Dad!!!" We were typing to each other while he was watching her and he said it was so good to be able to see her. I even got to run and get Kendall's new birthday outfit and show him. He approved. :) YEA FOR COMPUTERS!!!!!!

It was so great to be able to talk to you this morning Ran! I hope you sleep good and that we are able to talk when you wake up. We love you and miss you!!!

P.S. I do not thing that you should be a member of this Rat Pack thing. Don't try to make yourself sick....remember Kenya!!!!

Harley Girl!

Ok, Randy, here are some more pictures. Sorry! I need to try to remember to take pictures with Mom's camera so that I can upload them here. I have taken more with our camera, but can't upload them until we get home. Kendall sat on Papas' Harley this weekend (when it was 80 degrees outside, unlike today that is 40 degrees!).
