Aggie Game!

Saturday we got to go to the A&M vs Tech football game and tailgate! We didn't get season tickets this year because of the timing of Cooper being born, so we were super excited that the Johnson's invited us to go to this game with them! Granny and Papas met us in College Station and played with the girls for us while we went to the game. It was a great date! And I think they had fun, too. :) Here we are at the tailgate before the game.

I had to feed Cooper before we walked over for the game, and Kendall came to check out what was going on. :)

Granny and Papas took the girls on a walk around campus during the game. It was such a pretty day on Saturday and Kendall had a lot of fun playing while Cooper slept in the stroller.
Playing on the century tree!
Thanks for coming down Granny and Papas! We had a great day and it was great to see yall!

Halloween Parade 2010!

Friday night we had our second annual Halloween parade at the house! We have really been looking forward to it and it was so much fun! I took some pictures, but there are more coming from friends who were there. I will post those as I get them, but I wanted to go ahead and get this post up so that I can post about trick-or-treating on Halloween night (I'm a little crazy about things being in order! Ha!).
Kendall has been telling us for weeks now that she wanted to be a kitty cat, so we decided little Cooper could be a mouse. I put her in a grey shirt and pants and made some ears that I sewed onto one of her headbands. Then I cut a sponge and glued it on her sass - cheese! We think she was a pretty sweet mouse. :) She had her 2 month check-up Friday morning and got 3 vaccinations, so she was pretty sleepy all night.
Here's the cutest kitty cat! I wasn't sure she was going to keep her ears on, but for the most part she did! She loved her tail, too.

Such a ham!
Ready to get the parade started!
We had a "float" contest this year! Since the girls were a cat and a mouse, we decided to put Molly in the wagon too and make it like a pet store. We even got some things from Petco to help! We put Molly's bed in the wagon, but she didn't end up staying in there (we put her in the house - she was barking too much!). It worked out great though for Cooper to lay in Kendall's lap. She was asleep the whole time and Kendall was so sweet holding her and making sure she was safe. :)
Some of the parade participants! We counted up how many people (adults and kids) we had this year and it was 93!!! We invited friends to be IN the parade and friends to watch the parade. I was a little nervous that we would be taking over the neighborhood, but it really worked out ok. People dropped their wagons or bicycles off at the house and then parked down the street, past the parade route. Then some people brought chairs and sat along the route to cheer and let the kids throw candy to them. It was really soo cute!!

Lined up on the driveway, ready to start the parade!
Kendall got a little overwhelmed and needed to hold my hand. I will never get over that! Love it!
Noelle was so sweet to snap some pictures with our camera so I could pull Kendall and Randy could "direct." Here are Jillian (Snow White) and Sarah (Ariel)!
Ethan (Spiderman) and Ella (Minnie Mouse) rode on their gator.
Lawson, Aubrey, and Brynlee were the tin man, Dorothy, and the wicked witch!
Two of the three Mbaraka girls! Precious!
The parade is over- Cooper is still passed out!
After the parade we had cupcakes for the kids to decorate. Jeff helped entertain Kendall by wearing her ears. :)
And Kendall helped herself to LOTS of icing!
We also announced the winners of the float contest: Mikey Hintze got funniest for his Hulk costume, Alex Vrazel got most creative, the Reyes girls won the cutest award, and the Calhoun family of M&Ms won Best in Show! SO. MUCH. FUN!! Already can't wait til next year!

Halloween Presents!

Kendall and Cooper have enjoyed getting fun mail lately! One day last week they got a Halloween package from Gigi and Peeps! Kendall got to open it after her bath.
They got some fun pumpkin lights, cute Halloween clothes,
and stickers!

Cooper kind of slept through the package-opening, but we "tried" some of her clothes on her. :)

We love the cute clothes the girls got! Cooper got three shirts: one that glows in the dark, a white Casper the ghost one, and this cute one that has a tu-tu!
The girls also got some fun matching Halloween outfits from Granny and Papas! They wore them to church this past week. I tried to get a picture of both of them, but it didn't go so well...

You can't see it in these pictures, but there is a big spider on the front of their shirts. I will try and get a better picture soon!
And that is THE END!

Three years at the Pumpkin Patch

This was Kendall's first trip to the pumpkin patch in 08...
...her second trip in 09...
...and her third trip this year! I can't believe how much she has grown! We love our little pumpkin!

Does she or doesn't she?

She can't decide...."I love my shoes....I don't love my shoes...."

And again...

Decorating Kendall's Punkum

When we were at the pumpkin patch, Kendall got to pick out her own little pumpkin and she also got some stickers to decorate it with. We waited until that night when Dad was home so that he could do it with us.

She picked out the face she liked and Randy helped her put it on.

Showing off her "punkum!"

Here is a video we took. I was trying to get her to say punkum so you can hear it. I think it's the cutest thing. :)

"Punkum" Patch!

I love fall! The weather has started to cool down a little and it's time to go to one of my favorite places...the pumpkin patch! Or as Kendall says, "the Punkum Patch." I love how she is saying pumpkin - so cute!
Kristin, Mary, Stephanie, Holly and I all have the same doctor - Dr. Miller - and she has been asking for a picture of all our kids for awhile now. We have had the hardest time trying to get them all together, but we were finally able to meet up at the pumpkin patch Wednesday for a "photo shoot." You can imagine how fun it was to try and get 7 toddlers and 1 six week old in one picture!! Ha! Here's the craziness....

We got all the kids situated and then I handed Cooper to Kendall and stepped back quickly! She did a good job hanging on to her! I think this first picture was the best we got. Sarah is upset with Caleb in this next one...
...and now Ella is mad about something.

Oh well. That's just where we're at right now!! Dr. Miller wants a big copy of it - like an 11x14 - to hang in her office. We love our doctor!
After we got the whole group, we let the kids play. Sarah pulled Kendall in the wagon,

Kendall rode on the little tractor,

and played in the pumpkins.
Kendall and Sarah played "ping around the posies."

"Mom. Sarah is my best friend and EE is my best friend."

The Girls! (Minus Cooper. It wasn't the easiest thing to take pictures of her in the pumpkin patch!)

Here's Cooper next to the growth chart.

And Kendall. I will post the past two year's pictures soon. She is getting so big!

I love this picture!
Finally, here are more of Cooper with her big sister. Kendall did such a good job holding on to her - we had to take pictures fast!
She was so proud to be able to hold her.
We had so much fun! I'm sure it won't be the last time we go to the pumpkin patch this year. We did get one big pumpkin for the front porch and Kendall picked out her own little pumpkin. More pictures soon of decorating that with Dad!!
