Swimming at the Rec Center

We finally took our camera with us to the rec center Friday night when we went with Val, Jeff, and Gracie! Randy and I have been taking Kendall at least a couple of nights a week lately, and we never remember to bring our camera. We have been wanting to get some pictures of Kendall sliding down the water slides. She is so brave! She really has no fear - of anything. We love swimming with her at night after dinner. It is so much fun! We're so thankful to have such a great Recreation Center here in Lake Jackson. They have a great indoor and outdoor pool.

She loves to lay on her stomach in the water and to float on her back.

There is a kiddie pool with fountains to play in. She's pretty interested in those.

Here she is about to go down one of the little slides. There are two little slides and one big slide. She can do this little one by herself. She climbs up the stairs to the top with us, while the other one waits at the bottom. She never hesitates before going down - we have to make sure we're ready!

Here is the big slide! It is about 2 stories high and goes really fast! When we do this one, she sits in our laps and just smiles and laughs the whole time.

The water was a little cold for Gracie, but she stayed in and played for awhile!
