Thanksgiving Day

We had a busy but fun day on Thanksgiving. We go four different places, so we are always moving, but it's great to be able to see everyone!
We started the day at Mamaw and Papaw's house. Kendall was excited that Gracie and Evy were going to be there and she also enjoyed playing with her second cousin, Grayson. Here the cousins are playing in one of the extra bedrooms. Kendall and Gracie are both wearing their turkey bows!
I tried to get a picture of both the girls, but I couldn't ever get them both looking at the same time.
Eating their Thanksgiving lunch.

Cooper got to meet a lot of family that she hadn't met yet!
After lunch, Kendall and Gracie played in Evy's play pen. They thought that was pretty fun!
From Mamaw and Papaw's, we left and went to Randy's Grandma Dane's Thanksgiving at his Aunt Brenda's house. Emily and Kyle were there with their little girls Maelie and Lorelai, as well as Randy's cousin Amy and Uncle Mark and Lydia. Here are Amy, Brenda, and Emily meeting Cooper for the first time!

Kendall had so much fun watching Mary Poppins and playing with Maelie.
After we left Brenda's, we got to go visit Granny in the hospital! Mom had her left knee replaced in July and she had her right one done the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We were so excited to get to go see her and spend some time with her and David. Kendall loved sitting up in the bed with her and asking her what everything was.

Here is a cute video. Kendall had both her hands closed and she said, "Guess what's in this hand? A hug!" and then she would give Granny a hug. Then she would say, "Guess what's in this other hand? A kiss!" So sweet!

Aunt Auggie and Uncle Scott were there too and Cooper took a nap in Auggie's lap.

For dinner, we went to my Granny and Oscar's house. Cooper got to meet her Great Granny for the first time!

Great Granny had a present for Kendall and it was a big hit ...

...a book about cats! She knew Kendall loves cats because that's what she was for Halloween, and the book was a big hit.

She saw a Noah's ark on one of Granny's shelves and asked if she could play with it. My Great Aunt - her Great Great Aunt - Wanda talked with her while she played.
We had a great dinner and then ended the night back at Pops' and Kiki's house for the big game - A&M vs. t.u. Alden and Scott stayed and watched it with us. Ags win!
I love this picture of Kendall watching the game with the boys. She loves to watch the "Aggie boys!"
We had a great Thanksgiving day and loved seeing everyone and eating great food!

You have so many places to go - a blessing - and we are so thankful that you both want to spend the day with all of us! Thank you for giving Kendall and Cooper a chance to play and get to know their cousins. They will always remember those busy, but memory-making holidays!
