What a deal!

(the post that could also be titled "Why I cried when Kendall put on a white dress...")
Kendall is about to be a flower girl in our friends Lauren and Kevin's wedding! Lauren and Kevin were both in our small group and Randy is officiating their wedding. Ethan is the ring bearer, so all of these things put together gives us high hopes for how well she will do in the wedding.
Lauren has been working with Tamara at our church's orphanage in Cambodia for the past year. She had her dress made there, and was going to have Kendall's dress made to match her's, but ran out of time. So when she got home last week we talked about what she wanted us to look for. She told us that her dress has some ivory in it, and that it has ruffles on the bottom. I told her we would start looking.
Last week we went up to Pearland for lunch and some shopping. We ran into the Dillards up there, because I thought they might have a better selection than our Dillards. I asked if they had any white dresses, like for a flower girl, and she said there was just one. She pulled it off the rack, and it was perfect! Had some ivory, ruffles, and it was Kendall's size!! The only one left and it was the perfect dress.
All that is awesome, but here is the best part...it had just been marked down to $14! What?! It is beautiful, her perfect size and style, and it was $14!
So we were super excited, she was super excited, and we went to try it on. And that's when I teared up! She looked so beautiful and grown-up! Look:

She loves her dress so much and loved posing for Randy to take pictures. Now if we can just get her down the aisle at the right time!!!
