Shell!

Michelle came to visit us this weekend! We had such a great time and were so glad she was able to come down. It was a busy weekend, but we still had plenty of downtime to just catch up. Kendall loves "Shell!" We talked about her coming all week and Kendall would go look out the front door and say "Shell! Shell!" over and over again. She would also go to her picture wall and find Shell's picture and give her a kiss and a hug. Michelle got here late Thursday night after Kendall was already in bed, so she was a little surprised when she woke up Friday morning and then Michelle walked out of the guest room! She was a little shy for awhile, but warmed up pretty quick - and Michelle constantly feeding her candy corns didn't help! :)
Friday morning we got up and went for a walk on a nature trail I discovered this week. The trail goes close to the Brazos River and there are several marshy areas along the way with signs that say "Watch for alligators and snakes!" We watched for them but didn't get to see any of either! Kendall got out of her stroller when we were halfway done with our walk for a little walk herself.

After our walk we went home, cleaned up, and then went to try a new hibachi/sushi restaurant that just opened in town. It was so good! We didn't sit at the hibachi table, but we still had a great time and got to try new food! It's a pretty big deal when we get a new restaurant here in LJ. :)
Friday night we got to go to another Brazoswood football game! Kendall had so much fun at the last game that we really looked forward to taking her back. She had a blast again! She loves cheering, saying, "Go boys, go!" And this time we taught her to say "Go Bucs!" She spent most of the game in Holly's lap.

Looking at her Kendall book with Shell.

Saturday we hung out around the house in the morning, went and grabbed some lunch, and then went to watch the Aggies play Colorado. And that's all we'll say about that. Not a fun game to watch.

Michelle, we are so glad you came! Kendall was still talking about you today. We love you so much!
