Kendall's Week With Granny

We had a great week last week, and Kendall did too! Randy and I left Monday morning to go to the Drive conference at North Point Church in Atlanta (Andy Stanley's church). We were there from Monday to Wednesday with the Pickerings, and then we went from there to Chattanooga, TN by ourselves from Wednesday to Saturday for a little babymoon! It was so much fun. We loved the conference and then we loved getting to just hang out in Chattanooga and sightsee and rest. If you haven't been, you should totally go. It's a great place for families, too. Great downtown area, beautiful mountains all around, and a ton of history. We hiked up Lookout Mountain and saw seven states from one point, then went down under the earth and saw Ruby Falls, a 165 ft. underground waterfall. We also shopped a lot, went to the Tennessee Aquarium, and ate lots of great food. It was a great vacation. I made the wrong decision to not bring our camera, though, so we have no pictures!
While we were doing that, Granny was in Lake Jackson playing with Kendall all week! They had a great week of just hanging out and playing. She took some pictures, so that's what I have to post from the week - thanks Granny!
Wednesday they went to the beach with Mary, Sarah, Caleb, Holly, Ethan, and Ella. Check out her new bathing suit Granny got her!

Playing with the curtain at a mexican restaurant. LOVE this picture!! :)
Eating a snack and watching "Follow That Bird." Granny got her that movie and she watched it all week long!
Papas came and joined Granny on Friday and they went to the park for a picnic!
Playing with her puppy-dog backpack!
It was so nice to be able to get away just the two of us. Thank you so much Granny for taking the week off school and spending so much time with Kendall!! We love you!!
Also, we had a great Mother's Day yesterday! I was super excited to get to preach the Mother's Day message at church! It went really well and I loved doing it so much. I was pretty worn out after three services, though, so we ate lunch at home, took a nap, then had a fun evening together. Perfect Mother's Day!!!

Just thankful for the time with Kendall!! I am a blessed Granny (along with all her other grandparents and great grandparents!) What a wonderful gift in Kendall and soon-to-be Cooper!!! Last week will go down as one of the highlights of my life - Kendall and then Ashley's sermon! CRAZY, wicked highlight!!
