The plane rides there and back couldn't have gone better. We were a little unsure of how everything worked, since we had never done it before, but it was great having Holly there because she has flown with Ethan. We had 2 big suitcases, Kendall's carseat and stroller, and 2 carry-on bags, so it was kind of a lot to manage! We got the suitcases checked and then went through security. For those of you who have never flown with a baby, security is kind of crazy to get through! We had to take Kendall out of the carseat and put it through the machine along with stroller and our carry-ons. I had all of Kendall's food for the week that I had made in a small ice chest that I had to take out, and the milk and juice I had for the plane, too. They didn't give us any trouble about all those liquids, though, and we made it through just fine (thanks for all your help, Kimberly!).
The flight was full on the way there, so we couldn't take Kendall's carseat on the plane - we just had to hold her in our laps. She did fine until it was time to take a nap and she couldn't go to sleep. She's just not used to us holding her to go to sleep, so she couldn't make herself fall asleep. She cried for about 10 or 15 minutes, and then finally fell asleep. Her ears never seemed to hurt her so that was great. On the plane ride home, the flight was kind of empty, so they let us take the carseat on with us and we put her in that and she slept the whole time. It was wonderful!
The hotel we stayed at was great. They had a little crib for Kendall to sleep in and she slept pretty good. One night she was having trouble going down, so Randy went and got the stroller out of the car and pushed her up and down the hall of the hotel until she fell asleep!
One morning when we were getting ready, Randy found Elmo on T.V. Kendall was playing on the floor and when she heard Elmo, she stopped playing and watched him for a long time and just smiled and laughed. I guess she loves Elmo! Here are some pictures of her watching him on T.V.
During the days Thursday and Friday while Randy and Aaron were at the conference, Holly and I took Ethan and Kendall to the Atlanta Children's Museum and the Atlanta Zoo. Check back for more pictures!

I am so glad you had a wonderful trip! I can't believe how incredibly big you look! Your Aunt Val misses you so much!
I was just thinking she probably thought Elmo was her Uncle Dohe.
