Our Christmas Morning!

Santa came and left presents for Kendall and Cooper! Kendall was so excited to wake up and go see what Santa had left her. She has been asking for a "kitty that walks." That was all she wanted him to bring her! She got the kitty, a Fancy Nancy book, some bath paints, and lots of fun stuff in her stocking, like fruit snacks, jolly ranchers, bath fizz things, and a new sippy cup.

Cooper got an elephant toy and a full stocking, too!

We had such a fun time as a family opening presents on Christmas Eve morning. Kendall took time to play with each present she opened.

Kendall also loved showing Cooper the present she got her...her first baby doll!
Cooper spent the morning watching from her swing. She talked to us a lot, though! Listen for her in the videos.
Christmas was so much fun with you this year, Kendall girl. You had fun talking about what you wanted Santa to bring you, and you loved picking out gifts for your family. This next video shows what you would tell Daddy when he would ask you what you got him: "There's nothing in there!" You did a good job keeping it a secret that you got him Chutes and Ladders to play with you! You call it "Chutes."

Our most favorite part of this Christmas was watching you discover the Christmas story and the real reason we have such a fun time this time of year. I've already posted about how much you have loved the baby Jesus in all our nativities, but you have really learned the story of Mary and "Jo-ves," about how they had to stay in the barn, how Jesus was born and they put him in the manger and all the shepherds and "three old men" came to see him. We can't wait for the day when you really understand that the reason he came was for you - so that you would fall in love with him and choose to follow him and be able to live in the freedom he gave us with his birth, life, death, and resurrection. Merry Christmas precious girl!
