The Johnsons had a crawfish boil Friday night! So, after a fun day at the zoo and a short nap, we went over there for the party. The Sanders and Mitterlings were there, too, so Kendall was excited to see her friends.
Sitting on the hammock with "Jeffy Jeff." She loves Jeff so much and even if she is not in the mood to talk to anyone she will always run to Jeff and hug him. We tried to get a picture of Kendall, Sarah, and Ella, but never could get them all looking at the same time.
The crawfish table! This was a new tradition to us when we moved to Lake Jackson. Crawfish season is a big deal here and everyone loves to eat them. It's so fun - you cook them (alive!) and serve them with corn and potatoes - you just dump them all out on a table, everyone gets a box lid and you start peeling! Kevin worked hard cooking all afternoon and evening - they had 70 lbs of crawfish!!!
Another highlight of the night was getting to Skype with Greg....or "Gergie" as Kendall calls him. She loves him so much too and almost every day she says "Mom, I miss my Gergie." All.the.time. So you can imagine how excited she was to get to see him on the computer and talk to him.
I was holding Cooper and trying to take pictures before Kendall ran away, so these are kind of fuzzy, but I just loved how excited she was to see him. So sweet!
Kevin and Jan left Sunday to go to Brazil to visit Greg! They are having a great time and enjoying spending time with him. Thanks for the crawfish boil, guys! It was a blast!
