Today was Kendall's first day of school (and mine, too)! We have had training the past two weeks, but today was the first day for the kids. We will be going every Tuesday and Thursday morning now from 8:30-1:00. Kendall wore a new outfit and we tried to get pictures before we left this morning, but that didn't work out so well.
There were two, though, where she wasn't crying...or didn't look like she was crying. She's holding an orange in this one. She is WAY into oranges these days - like, she may eat 3-5 of those little ones a day. This picture looks like she's going to take an orange to her teacher in place of an apple. :)
Once we got on the road and got to school, she was a happy camper. I got to slip in and out of her class throughout the morning because my job is to lead chapel and to kind of float around to all the classes. There are 8 kids in her class, but only 5 were there today. Here they are eating lunch.
This is her friend Jillian. Remember, Kendall took a bath with her and Sarah recently. Now they are in the same class!
I love these little tables that you put them in to eat. She looked so cute!
She had milk, yogurt, oranges, a nutri-grain bar, and fruit snacks. That's a pretty good lunch for her!
Before we left, Kendall played with the bigger toys for just a minute. I have been so impressed with Willow Drive and all the great things they have for kids.
My favorite part of the tables: the way her little legs dangle down. So precious!!
Ready to go home! All the kids loaded up in the buggy for dismissal. That's Kendall's teacher, my friend Lindsey. I cut off her head. :(

She had her "sass" in most of the day. She's done really well the past two weeks only using it at nap and bedtime. We'll work up to that at school!

In the middle of the preschool area is a huge ark the kids can play on and in and around. So much fun!
She gets on and off of these horses all by herself. So big!
We had a great first day and are looking forward to resting tomorrow and then going back on Thursday! Kendall loves school!

What a busy day!! I'm sure you ( and your Mommy!) took a good nap today!!!
Wow, that looks like a really nice preschool (to take kids to AND work at). We had a table and buggy like that at the Seminary daycare.
What a big girl on her first day of school! I can already tell she is the smartest girl there! Pops
What a fun place to go. Lots of fun things to do and good friends to play with. I just know you are going to love school.
We love you big girl!
Gigi was looking at your pictures again this morning. I was so sad for you in the pic with your dad and your big crying eyes...we can't fix all your tears but we sure do want to.
