Easter Weekend with Kiki and Pops

We were so excited to get to celebrate Easter this year with Kiki and Pops. They drove down Friday and got here just as Kendall was getting up from her nap. She gets so hot when she sleeps, that her hair just curls up so tight. That's why it's so crazy in all these pictures!
The first thing Kendall got to do was open some Easter gifts they brought with them. She got some eggs with coins in them for her piggy bank from Kiki and Pops,

we both got matching Easter aprons from my Granny's friend Vonda,

and she got a basket of goodies from Gigi and Peeps that included some Peeps-flavored "lipstick" that she just loves!

She had to put anything that had a handle on it on her arm and then she started walking away, telling us she was going "gro-shopping." :)

That night we went out to eat and then went shoe shopping for Kendall! She also got some new nail polish and Saturday morning, Kiki and Pops painted her toes for Easter!

We had a busy, fun day Saturday. We cooked pancakes for breakfast, put a roast in the crockpot for dinner, then went to eat burgers at the Local. While Kendall napped, Randy and I went to a crawfish boil with friends and Randy got to play some watermelon football! Saturday night we ate dinner and then dyed eggs! This was Kendall's first egg-dying experience and she did great! Of course, we had to wear our matching aprons!
